Aqueos Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Aqueos Limited · Company No. 02978308 · Registered in England and Wales
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods by Aqueos Limited (“Aqueos”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through our website at aqueos.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
For any questions, please contact us at info@aqueos.co.uk or on 03330 497 498.
1. Ordering
All orders placed through the Aqueos website constitute an offer by you to purchase goods on these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason. No contract is formed until we confirm your order by email.
Where goods you have ordered are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you and offer you the choice of waiting until the goods are available or receiving a full refund.
2. Price and Payment
All prices shown on the Aqueos website are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.
Following receipt of your order, we will confirm by email the details, description, and price of the goods. If any of these differ from what is shown on the website at the time you placed your order, you are entitled to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Full payment, including any applicable delivery charges, is required before goods are dispatched.
We reserve the right to adjust prices and specifications on the website at our discretion. Prices are fixed at the point of order confirmation.
3. Delivery
UK orders are normally delivered within three working days of receipt of order, subject to stock availability.
Where a specific delivery date has been agreed and we are unable to meet that date, we will notify you and offer the opportunity to agree a revised delivery date or receive a full refund.
We will use reasonable endeavours to meet any agreed delivery date; however, time of delivery is not of the essence. We are not liable for any loss, cost, damage, or expense arising directly or indirectly from a failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
Delivery will be made to the address you specify in your order. Please ensure someone is available to take delivery of the goods. Title and risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
4. Export Orders
If you are ordering for delivery outside the UK, local taxes, customs duties, and import charges may apply when the goods reach their destination country. You are solely responsible for payment of all such charges. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office before placing your order.
5. Your Right to Cancel — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you are a consumer purchasing online, by phone, or by mail order, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 calendar days. This period starts the day after you (or a nominated recipient) receive the goods.
If your order is delivered in multiple consignments, the 14-day period runs from the day you receive the final item.
You do not need to give a reason to cancel.
6. How to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, please notify us before the 14-day period expires by:
- Emailing info@aqueos.co.uk with your order number and a note that you wish to cancel; or
- Calling us on 03330 497 498.
We recommend emailing so you have a written record of the date you cancelled. We will acknowledge your cancellation promptly.
7. Returning Goods — Change of Mind
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. Please ensure that:
- Goods are unused and in the condition in which you received them;
- Goods are returned in their original packaging, with all labelling intact; and
- Your order number is clearly marked on the outside of the parcel.
You are responsible for the cost of returning goods. We recommend using a tracked or insured service, as we cannot process refunds for items lost in transit on their way back to us.
Where returned goods are found to be damaged due to your fault, you will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
8. Refunds
Once we receive your returned goods, or you provide us with proof of postage (whichever is the sooner), we will process your refund within 14 days.
Your refund will include the price you paid for the goods and the standard delivery charge. We may make a deduction from the refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning — that is, more than you would be permitted to handle them in a shop.
Refunds are made to your original payment method.
9. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your goods promptly upon receipt and notify us within 10 days of delivery if anything is faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered. Contact us at info@aqueos.co.uk with your order number and, where possible, a photograph of the issue.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement.
- Between 30 days and 6 months after delivery, we will first offer a repair or replacement; if that does not resolve the issue, you are entitled to a refund.
We will cover the cost of returning faulty or incorrect items and will refund any delivery charges you paid.
10. Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
For hygiene reasons, the following goods cannot be returned for a change of mind once they have been opened or used, unless they are faulty or not as described:
- Shampoos, sanitisers, disinfectants, and similar liquid or topical products;
- Made-to-order or bespoke items supplied under trade or wholesale orders.
This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights to a refund or replacement if any such items are faulty or not as described.
11. Trade and Wholesale Orders
Orders placed through an Aqueos trade account are subject to our separate trade terms and conditions, including any Sale or Return arrangements agreed in writing. If you hold a trade account, please contact your account manager for details.
12. Warranty
We warrant that goods will, at the time of dispatch, correspond to the description given on the website. Except where you are dealing as a consumer, all other warranties, conditions, or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability, or condition of the goods — whether implied by statute, common law, or otherwise — are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
Except as required by law where you are dealing as a consumer, our liability for any breach of these Terms is limited to the price of the goods. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage of any kind.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
14. Conditions
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the Buyer’s statutory rights as a consumer.
Acceptance of delivery of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
15. Rights of Seller
We reserve the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the website at our discretion, and to withdraw any goods from sale at any time without liability to you.
16. Warranty
The Seller warrants that the Goods will at the time of dispatch correspond to the description given by the Seller. Except where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, all other warranties, conditions, or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or condition of the Goods, whether implied by Statute, common law or otherwise are excluded, and the Buyer is satisfied as to the suitability of the Goods for the Buyer’s purpose.
17. Limitation of Liability
Except as may be implied by law where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Seller the remedies of the Buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the Price of the Goods and the Seller shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Seller or that of the Seller’s agents or employees.
18. Waiver
A failure or delay by us to enforce any of our rights under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of those rights or prevent us from enforcing them in the future.
19. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where that delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, strikes, lock-outs, accidents, war, fire, or shortage of materials. We will be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for the performance of our obligations in such circumstances.
20. Severance
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
21. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website. Your continued use of the website following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
