A Day of Wagging Tails: Our Charity Dog Show in Aid of Greatwood
On Saturday 13th June 2026, we had the pleasure of supporting a charity dog show in aid of Greatwood, a Wiltshire-based charity with a mission unlike any other in the UK. It was a day full of sunshine, proud pups, and an atmosphere that only a field full of dogs and their owners can create, and we were delighted to be part of it.
Why We Backed This Event
Greatwood has been quietly changing lives since 1993. It’s the longest-standing racehorse welfare charity in the UK, and the only one that takes in every horse referred to it, regardless of age, condition or history. But what makes Greatwood truly stand out is what happens next: those rehabilitated racehorses go on to support disadvantaged children and young adults, many with special educational needs, through hands-on educational programmes that build confidence, communication and trust.
It’s a cycle the charity calls “horses helping young people, young people helping horses,” and it’s the kind of work that resonated with us straight away. At Aqueos, our focus is on hygiene and care across every corner of the animal world, from dogs and cats at home to horses in the stable, so a charity built around equine welfare and the wellbeing of young people felt like a natural fit to get behind.
On the Day
The dog show brought together owners and their four-legged companions for a proper celebration of everything that makes dog ownership so joyful. There were classes to enter, ribbons to win, and plenty of tail-wagging enthusiasm from start to finish. Whether dogs were dressed up for the fun categories or simply enjoying a day out in the sunshine with their families, the mood across the field was one of warmth and community.
Alongside the competitions, there was a real sense of togetherness. Families settled onto the grass, children got to meet dogs of every shape and size, and volunteers worked hard behind the scenes to keep the day running smoothly, all in support of a cause that continues to make a genuine difference to both animals and people.
Supporting Hygiene on the Day
As always, we were there to help keep things clean, safe and comfortable for every dog in attendance. Our disinfectant and hygiene products are alcohol and bleach free, DEFRA approved, and tested to EN1276, EN1650 and EN14476 standards, which means they’re tough on germs without being harsh on paws, skin or the surfaces dogs come into contact with throughout the day. Events like this are exactly what our range is built for: busy, sociable spaces where lots of dogs (and lots of people) come together.
A Thank You
To everyone who came along, entered their dog, cheered from the sidelines, or simply stopped by to say hello, thank you. Days like this only work because of the people and pets who show up for them, and this one was no exception. We’re proud to have played a small part in supporting Greatwood’s vital work, and we’re already looking forward to being part of the next one.

Here’s to more days spent celebrating dogs, community and good causes.
